a mood

I grew up in a home filled with George Winston. So when I hear his music, I can almost feel myself instinctively needing to twirl around the living room like a six year-old, or snuggle with a blanket on the couch and listen to my mom cook something. This song makes me feel nostalgic. Calm but not somber--a bit introverted but not shy.

  1. Dearest Katelan,

I just looked through months of delicious blogging. Seriously, I am speechless--and so full of words. Only you would understand that. Your writing, as good as ever. Your taste, never better. Your room decor, killer. George Winston, lovely. You are wonderful. I love you!

  2. It's actually funny you say those things about George Winston because I feel like that whenever I hear his 'Thanksgiving'. My mom always played it when she was making dinner. When the house was neat and all put away and the smell from the kitchen and the pumpkin spice candle filled my little warm nose. So you are right about that, girl!
