This weekend a friend and I followed painted-white wooden signs to Bybee Nims U-pick Blueberry Farm nestled at the foot of the Cascades. It's a simple place with rows of little buckets and crates for everyone's gatherings. The babies were in sunhats and the retired couples came in their trousers, stockings and sandals. We plucked and snacked and enjoyed the Washington summer.
